Business requirement: Create a mini microsite to remind BCBS members to re-enroll their current health plan and or shop for a new plan during the open enrollment period.

Design process: In this creative, I worked closely with all parties involved to come up with the structure, ux, content, and visuals to attract existing BCBS members to re-enroll their current plan for the following year. This project had it’s challenges as we haven’t fully developed a design pattern library and I only had limited style to pull from. With this challenge, I had to work closer with my creative design director to come up with patterns that didn’t exist and communicate those patterns to our developer.The microsite is very content heavy as we are also educating our members on what to expect when they re-enroll with us. We had a series of meetings throughout this project to discuss content and how we should layout the pages so that the user doesn’t get overwhelmed with the information given. In order to not overwhelm our members with content, we needed to break out the information into graphics but also imagery to display data. I did extensive imagery research and made sure that I included people from different backgrounds. As for the arrow graphic, that you see on the mobile version, I wanted to demonstrate to our members that they can consume content in a graphical way instead of reading content that they may or may not understand. Again, making it easier for the consumer to re-enroll.
